A guitar built so that someone who cannot really play one can still make it sound beautiful.
Soft, vintage and melodious, recorded as naturally as possible and left without the extra functionality most virtual guitars carry — an unusual alternative to the sample libraries on the market today.
At a Glance
- Four sound lines two microphone lines, a pedalboard line and a direct line to converters
- Mono or stereo turn the pan knobs and the sound widens
- Echo and Space captured from a rare Soviet BBD delay, a Moog spring reverb module and an old Boss reverb pedal
- The X slider every patch has a sound-designed twin, built from that patch’s own sound
- Pre-air every sample carries its own amount, controllable on its own
- Left unclean the samples were not polished to perfect clarity, which is what keeps them warm
Content & Detail
The design of the instrument was drawn from Suprematist painting — chaotic in its parts and united as a whole. The sound was aimed at the same opposition, which is why the cleanest line and the tape-mangled one sit under the same fader.
