Midnite ExpandedVST3, AU and AAXThree electric guitars
Midnite is a multi-layer sound design instrument where granular textures meet intense overtones — hybrid, heavy-granular, overdriven sounds for atmospheres, keys, leads, drones and pulses.
Its sound sources were created in collaboration with UK-based Italian composer and sound designer Alessandro Mastroianni of Sonora Cinematic. Separately, and about the instrument as a whole rather than about those sources, the field calls Midnite inspired by iconic video game scores and by ambient and videogame classics like Boards of Canada, Fallout and Borderlands.

Two primary preset libraries and one preset expansion pack — that is how this field counts what you get, and the wording is its own. Core spreads 80 presets across genres, Overdrive accentuates distorted sounds and pulses with 40, and Lo-fi Realm — the pack that exists only in this version — is 40 more, focused on lo-fi hip-hop. What the field never says is whether a preset pack reaches anything in the engine underneath it: it describes Lo-fi Realm by its sounds and its count, and stops there.
