Starter Pack
SmartSoundFXThe Features line gives the sound count with a plus on it, and gives no file count at all.
The other three figures on that line are exact — 24 bit, 48 kHz and 7.83 GB — but the sounds are written as 1000+, which is a floor rather than a count, and no number of files appears anywhere on the card. So this page does not divide size by files and does not claim one sound per file. What it can give is a ceiling: 7.83 GB over at least a thousand sounds is at most about 8.0 MB each, and less if there are more than a thousand.
At a Glance
- 1000+ sounds, not 1000 The plus is the supplier’s own. It is a floor, and it is treated as one here
- No file count on the card The Features line states sounds and stops. With no file figure there is no division to do, so neither a file count nor one sound per file is claimed on this page
- At most about 8.0 MB per sound 7.83 GB over at least a thousand sounds — the division is computed here, and it is a ceiling because the count it divides by is a floor
- Six subjects named Animals, mechanicals, explosions, magic, weapons and foley — counted off the field
- One of the six is a discipline Foley is how a sound is made, not a thing that makes one. Five of the six name a subject; the field lists all six together
- Filed as a bundle The heading reads bundles, game audio packs, game sound effects libraries — the supplier’s own words, punctuated with a comma and a dash
Content & Detail
A starter set is a bet on breadth rather than on depth. Six subjects are named and 7.83 GB is exact, but the sound count is a floor and the file count is missing altogether — so the honest reading of this card is that it promises range and does not promise how much of each.
