Eight characters are named, four size classes are named, and only three of the classes have a character listed under them.

Small holds Microbot and Nanotron. Medium holds Android, Automaton and Summoner. Large holds Gunbuster, Colossus and Titan. Two, three and three — eight, counted off the field’s own brackets, which is the number it claims. Extra Large is named as the fourth class with nothing beside it, and this page names that gap rather than filling it.
