Opening the whole spectrum from delicate design to rich and cinematic patches, this volume serves the sonority and flexibility that made the guitar one of the most formative instruments of our time.

For this very special Origins, Sonuscore collaborated with composer Mats Lundgren (Just Cause 2, Mad Max, Generation Zero) of Pole Position Production, who recorded the guitars and processed them with his extraordinary precision.

Why he took it on“I have used sampling of original instruments and other sound sources as a core method for my own compositional process for many years, so I was really happy to be invited to create an instrument for Sonuscore’s ORIGINS.”
What he chose“I decided that I wanted to combine the esoteric, dreamy quality of the guitar harmonics with the more direct sound of the muted guitar. The combination makes for both good and fresh sounding arpeggios.”
04The Seriesother volumes▾

A palm mute and a harmonic are the same string treated as opposites. One kills the ring at the bridge, the other is nothing but ring — recorded on two different guitars through one small amp, which is why they sit in the same room rather than in two mixes.
