STEREOLAB is a one-stop stereo plug-in — morph a mono signal into full-range stereo, or shrink a wide field into a coherent single mono mix.

Left and right independent panning, mid-side gain, and left and right delays that create interaural time differences. Four stereophonic modules combine into one chain in a completely customizable order, with a vectorscope at the end of it.

Machine licenseFree. Deposit the licence on the computer running the software — no USB device needed. All it takes is a free account at ilok.com and the free iLok license manager
USB dongleIf you already own a 2nd generation or newer portable iLok USB device, deposit the licence on it instead. A lot of plug-in makers use the iLok system, so one device serves them all

Stereo is a stack of separate decisions about where a sound sits, and each one normally arrives as its own plug-in. Putting widening, mid-side, panning and width into one reorderable chain makes the order itself a parameter — the part a chain of separate plug-ins cannot hand back.
