Cloudmax 2 turns a sound into something other than itself. Create epic chords from a single lead, add weight to a bass, turn vocals into soundscapes, put unusual spaces around keys and craft pitch-shifted textures.

Inspired by classic shimmer effects and harmonizer units, it packs what the field calls “over 10 advanced DSP modules” into one plug-in: the granular engine, the reverbs, tape emulation, filters and a randomizer that fills them all in at once.

A shimmer effect is a reverb that refuses to stay in the past tense. Feeding grains back into their own tail is why one knob can put a halo over a piano and pull a chord out of a single lead — the pitch system is doing the harmony while the reverb is still finishing the note.
