USB dongleIf you already own a 2nd generation or newer iLok USB device, the licence can live on it instead. One dongle serves plug-ins from many manufacturers

A serial chain can only pass a signal forward. That is the whole argument for a modular rack: the moment one device can modulate another, the effect stops being a setting and starts being an instrument.
